Visit to the National History Museum and Boyana church.  In the afternoon sightseeing of Sofia University, the National Library, Borissova Garden, National Palace of Culture. Dinner and overnight in Sofia

Sofia – Rila Monastery – Plovdiv
After breakfast a 120 km. drive to the south of Sofia to Rila Mountain, where the Rila Monastery is situated. The monastery is founded in the 10th century and is the largest in the Balkans and included in  the list of world cultural heritage. In the afternoon proceed to Plovdiv, passing by the Borovets mountain resort. Overnight in Plovdiv

Plovdiv – Bachkovo Monastery – Plovdiv
A city tour of Plovdiv – Bulgaria’s second largest town. Tour includes the Old Town, the two thousand years old roman theatre, the Byzantine and medieval fortifications. In the afternoon drive to the Bachkovo Monastery founded in the 11th century. Tour of the monastery and drive back to Plovdiv. Overnight in Plovdiv

09 June
Plovdiv – ROSE FESTIVAL – Kazanlak – Veliko Tarnovo
Departure to Kazanlak to visit the Rose festival. Observing the rose picking rituals at the rose fields. Visit to the Ethnographic museum of Kazanlak and tasting rose jam and rose liquor. Sightseeing of the city and the street parade. Lunch with folkore music. Afternoon drive to Veliko Tarnovo, one of the old capitals of Bulgaria. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo

10 June
Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanassi - Sofia
Sightseeing tour of Veliko Tarnovo – the Tsarevets fortress, the old town and then short-drive to the village of Arbannassi famous for its old houses and architecture. Drive back to Sofia and overnight.
